Curricular Internship
The curricular internship is an experience aimed at completing university education through the implementation of practical activities within or outside the University and the acquisition of university educational credits (CFU) provided in the study program curricula.
The student who intends to take advantage of this opportunity must:
- Choose a company of interest among those already affiliated with the DIIIE Department or with the University of L'Aquila Internship Agreements DIIIE; it is also possible for the student to propose a company not yet affiliated, with which they have already made contact and which has shown availability. In this case, the student must provide the former Didactic Secretariat with all the necessary data of the company for drafting the agreement. The agreement will be drawn up in a single original copy, which will be kept on file by the Promoting Institution (University). A copy will be provided to the Hosting Institution (company).
- Identify a reference professor with whom to agree on all activities related to the internship.
- Submit to the former Didactic Secretariat the Training Project and the Agreement, duly filled out and signed, for the signature of the Department Director.
-
At the end of the internship period, the student must provide the former Didactic Secretariat with:
(a) - internship completion statement signed by the company tutor;
(b) - attendance sheet signed by the intern and signed and stamped by the company tutor;
(c) - report on the activities carried out, signed only by the intern;

Extracurricular Internships for Graduates
The University of L'Aquila, as a Promoting Institution, activates extracurricular internships for its former students who have obtained a university degree no more than 12 months prior.
The maximum duration of an internship is generally 6 months. Extracurricular internships provide the intern with a mandatory participation allowance paid by the Hosting Institution. To start the internship, an agreement must be signed between the Hosting Institution (public or private entity) and the University (Promoting Institution). The regulation of extracurricular internships is regional, so it is necessary to comply, unless otherwise specified, with the regulations in force in the Region where the internship takes place.
For extracurricular internships, students should contact the Student Citizenship, Guidance and Placement Office
